Learning Outcomes

Term 1 Math course Team Taleem

Term 1

This course is designed to develop mathematical concepts, make connections, think critically, solve problems and apply knowledge and skill to every day situation. Term 1 covers what students typically learn in kindergarten and after completion of this course they will know:

Counting and tracing numbers up to 50

Count backwards 20-0

What comes before, after and between numbers

Recognize the place values of numbers (tens and ones)

Add 1 and 2 more to a number and count

Ordinal numbers and Identify position of objects

Pattern and patterns of 2 and 3

Understanding more vs less and long vs short and big vs small

Understanding single, pair and sets

Basic shapes

Term 2

Term 2 is equivalent to Grade 1 of a primary education where student should be able to write numbers from 50 to 200 and also able to read them as well as do basic sums. Through Team Taleem’s Math course, students learn more than simple addition and subtraction. We introduce them to different counting methods that help boost their logical skills as well, and after completion of this course they will know:

Number line (50-200)

Writing practice of number (50 to 200)

Addition and Subtraction of 2 digit numbers

Sets and groups of numbers

Increasing numbers, decreasing numbers, ascending and descending order

Introduction to Fractions

Clock, time, hours, minutes (minute hand, hour hand, second hand)

Skip counting (1 to 5)

Addition and subtraction by number line and by fingers

Adding and subtracting bigger numbers

Term 2 Math course Team Taleem
Term 3 Math course Team Taleem

Term 3

In this course students will be able to write numbers up to 500, they will also be able to read and write numbers 1- 100 in words. Students are introduced to real life situations where they learn to apply addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. At the end of Term 3, which is equivalent to Grade 2 primary education, students have sharpened logical thinking skills, mathematical concepts and will know:

Whole number – up to 500

Write numbers in words 1- 100

We are open to working with parents who are looking to accelerate their child’s learning, as well as teachers/ school owners who are looking for affordable, inclusive, and empowering EdTech solutions.

What Our Families are Saying

We were not comfortable sending our 3 years old to school. Content available on the internet is not structured. Fortunately I found out about Team Taleem, it is designed with structured content for listening, reading, writing and speaking of English, Urdu and Maths. Highly recommended!
